Why specialty coffee really tastes different

Specialty is not a marketing word. It says something about the bean, the roast and the care along the way.

Why specialty coffee really tastes different

Specialty coffee starts with the bean: carefully grown, hand picked and graded on quality. Only beans without defects and with a distinct flavour profile earn that label.

We partner with Uncommon Amsterdam, who roast the beans light to medium so their own character shines through. That is how you taste chocolate, nuts or fruit instead of just bitterness.

On location we finish the job: grinding fresh per cup, dosing precisely and dialling in the espresso for every bean. You taste it in every cup that crosses our bar.
